Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, Microsoft is prioritizing Azure capacity to support those most in need (more information here) and has deprioritized access to free Azure subscriptions via Azure Passes.
This change immediately impacts digital hands-on online labs associated with many popular courses (list here) that are dependent on having Azure access. Some courses require Azure access for all lab modules, while others may need it for some of the lab modules. We are fortunate at XtremeLabs to have launched Azure labs using our credentialing technology back in September of 2016. It has been continuously in use to support our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Microsoft labs.
The engineering and development team at XtremeLabs worked over the weekend to evaluate the MOC and M-ILT courses that require Azure passes. We will start rolling out versions of courses that do not need Azure passes but will work using our existing Azure credentialing solution. They will be going live in the Courseware Marketplace starting this week.
We want to invite you to a 30-minute webinar to learn more about our solution, implementation progress and how you can integrate it in your training delivery. You can register here .
As Albert Einstein said, “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” The team at XtremeLabs is here to support our community of learners, instructors, and partners as we discover fantastic opportunities in these unprecedented times!
